Nightreign launches in 5 days!
What do you all think - getting it at launch? Waiting a bit? Or even skipping it entirely?
I'm getting it at launch, though mostly for single player. I love FromSofts lore, so I hope we learn a bit about the world of Elden Ring (pre-Shattering) through Nightreign. But I'm definitely much less excited than I was for Shadow of the Erdtree.
I want to try it before I decide if I'll buy it. I hope there's a demo. The whole thing sounds and looks like it could have just been a mod for the main game, and a lot of the gimmicks it is putting up front and center are things I have no interest in. Like the time limit to exploring the map.
I want to try it, but I'm not extremely hyped, just somewhat excited. The fact that there is day one DLC is a bit of a bummer in the way it feels like a cash grab.
I'll definitely wait a bit to make sure From's famous netcode is ironed out first. Maybe wait to see if there is a sale during summer.
AFAIK there won't be day one DLC, it will still be developed after release and will only be available later this year.
Oh yeah you're right, it's supposed to be Q4 2025.
