This is not a strictly ADHD thing. Many, many people have difficulty focusing when reading. It is just harder with ADHD to monitor and refocus.

No, pantyhose should not hurt. If they hurt, they are too small. The problem with pantyhose that don't go up so high is that they end up rolling down and bunching weirdly if they can't anchor themselves high up. They are not as sturdy as leggings, which is why they roll down.

The AP rule for capitalization in this case is that this is a title, so if we are speaking of a specific don, it would be capitalized but if just a generic don, it would not be capitalized. So a random don, but Don Corleone. Unless there is a source for mafia style that contradicts this standard rule of course.
