Am I the only one who jumped to the App Store to download “Farm Merge Valley” only to find nothing named that, while simultaneously realizing it was a joke?

Which books have the worst video adaptation?
Starship Troopers. The book is great, but the movie is like if someone wrote a short summary of the cliffs notes of the book. I guess they both had bugs.

I’m about half way through The Obelisk Gate which is the second book of the broken earth series by N.K. Jemisin. I’m really enjoying it.

What's your favorite Pink Floyd song?
Pigs (Three Different Ones) or One of These Days.
I Saw a Pink Floyd laser show back in the 90s at the planetarium in the Denver museum of natural history. The show was DSoTM, but as an "encore" they did One of These Days and it was amazing. Been a favorite ever since.

Is there any form of printer that isn't a complete con-job or scam?
Reply in thread
Same. I outfitted a medium sized business with brother laser printers when I was the IT monkey and had very few issues. Bought a multifunction brother laser for home a few years back and it was the best decision ever. Brother lasers are today what HP laserjets we’re back in the 90’s.

What RSS readers should I recommend to others?
NewsBlur is awesome. Great web interface, native apps for mobile, super customizable, and the developer is a great dude. I’ve been using it for a few years now since I got tired of running my own ttrss instance.

Which obscure systems have you played on?
My cousins had a ColecoVision that I used to play mousetrap and donkey kong on. The controllers were wonky, but it was a ton of fun.

Self-hosted Wishlist
I know it isn’t specifically what you are looking for since it isn’t self hosted, but Things to get me is great and I’ll take any opportunity to get people off of Amazon that I can.
