How hard is it to build an open source alternative to Duolinguo?

Duolingo is pretty bad at teaching you a language so I don't think we really need to make an open source alternative. If you want to actually learn a language, just use anki (anki is open source) for flashcards and get a textbook. I say anki because it uses a spaced repetition system which is the only way to effectively study more than 100 flashcards and there are browser plugins that allow you to create new flashcards from a couple clicks on a new word. Once you get far enough you won't have to use the textbook and will be able to just sentence mine for words and have to google the occasional grammar point.

Worse than that, on the psp if you play japanese games that are not localised to english, the circle becomes the okay button, but in the rest of the os, the x is the okay button so you have to mentally switch.

Nintendo has sued a guy so hard he needs to pay nintendo for the rest of his life. I think this is not really on the level of crimes against humanity as the other companies on the meme, and the meme is actually edited to replace a millitary company with nintendo.

I've never heard of nintendo doing millitary stuff. Everything I see online says that nintendo's main business until the 70s was printing hanafuda cards. Its pretty easy to find out about ibm's involvement in the holocaust though.

Infallible Code

def even(n: int) -> bool:
    code = ""
    for i in range(0, n+1, 2):
        code += f"if {n} == {i}:\n out = True\n"
        j = i+1
        code += f"if {n} == {j}:\n out = False\n"
    local_vars = {}
    exec(code, {}, local_vars)
    return local_vars["out"]
