First thought, be careful. Curious where you're traveling to?

That said, in 2016 my niece meet a man online, they talked for at least 6 months. He flew out to meet her and our family for a few weeks around Christmas. By summer she flew out to move in with him, a month later they were married. They have 2 kids now and are as happy as 2 people can be juggling raising small kids, work, and a family business lol.

Several years ago my son bought my daughter-in-law or tortilla blanket. A couple years later we found a larger blanket of the same pattern, so that year we bought her the burrito blanket. Last year my son gave us a pepperoni pizza blanket. Given enough years, we'll have all the foods LOL.

I took shop class in jr high. There was a dried spray of blood on the wall behind the band saw. First day of class the shop teacher pointed it out while clarifying that the safety rules were there for a reason. At some point in the previous years the room had been repainted, but that section was left alone to leave the blood on the wall.

That was 1985. I'm guessing today it would be properly cleaned, but everyone in the class would have taken pictures to share anyway.

Depends on the school. The high school my kids graduated from offered all forms of trade classes, from home maintenance to welding, cabinetry, auto, etc. They graduated in 2017, 19, & 20.

There was a moment in time several years back where there was talk of cutting back on those classes, but a large enough group of students kept enrolling in them, so the classes stayed.

Cool Bug Fact #47

Working in hospice and working with people as they approach their transition and end of their experience here, there's a touch of comfort and anxiety watching the many ways people can go. There are definitely preferred ways to go, and some that are heartbreaking, and some that I would personally find terrifying. Don't fear comfort meds. They're there for a reason.

How about Springfield?

My parents retired to the Ozarks 30ish years ago. Beautiful area, had a house built on the side off a mountain in the middle of nowhere (Cape Fair technically, but same difference.) I just remember Springfield being the closest city if you needed anything better than what the Walmart in Branson West could provide.

i just think they're neat

My mom used to do arts and crafts things with gourds. When she passed there were easily over a dozen laying around the house plus a giant one she had started prepping, but never finished.

She was cremated, and the plans were to bury her in the plot she already had next to my dad. State or county requirements, however, that works, allowed us to be the ones to dig the hole to actually place her urn in the ground. When the time came, her five children, their spouses and many grandchildren gathered to dig a great big hole in the ground. We ended up taking the big gourd that she had been working on and placed it in the ground, then as we filled that with dirt we placed her urn inside the gourd. In the end everyone took shovelfuls and handfuls of earth and covered her up.

I can never look at a gourd without thinking of my mom.

I bought some lol. It's a truly pretty, perfect pink.

I've made an unspeakable number of purchases from Culture Hustle over the last couple years for a variety of pigments and specialty paints (like Black 4.0 and glow in the dark and UV reactive pigments.) I paint board game minis for fun lol.

I've got the feeling that Epstein probably made a routine of getting himself close to other rich and famous people for the purpose of befriending and trying to see who would take the bait. I doubt he offered children to everybody who boarded his plane, so he probably started with little things (like a foot massage) then guaged the person's reaction and offered from there. That someone flew on his plane I don't think automatically makes them guilty, but I would look closer at the people who flew in his plane multiple times.

Side note, as a massage therapist toenail fungus is extremely common. Also, the presence of sock fuzzies suggests a brand new pair of socks. If anything, most of the people that I've met that have toenail issues are extremely self-conscious about the way their feet look and aren't very comfortable exposing their feet to strangers. According to the article it was Epstein's idea, so that just makes me wonder if it was part of his game to put Growing in a compromising position for future black mail.

Turns out Keanu had witnessed somebody walking their dog, and that person kept jerking on the leash and kicked the dog. After rescuing the dog, the offender was tied up in Keanu's backseat. Kidney donation is 100% justifiable consequence of his actions.

Hi.

On my way home tonight, sitting at a red light I noticed that my bosses boss sent me "hi, can you talk?"

I spent the next 20 minutes of the ride home trying to think of anything that I said to anybody that could have been misconstrued into God knows what. I get home and reply "I can now."

It was a question someone had about our specific uniforms (scrubs) and under which heading I was able to order them under.

"Hi, can you talk? I have a question about your uniform." Would have been so much kinder lol.

In a scenario like this, I don't know that there's fault to be had.

Big picture (my opinion as a 53yo) 23 is still young and it's not uncommon for people and their priorities to change as they find direction in life. Even if you remained healthy, there's other growing and changes occurring that may have eventually lead to the end of the relationship - it's the risk we take when we make ourselves vulnerable to someone.

Is it unfortunate? Yes. Sad? Absolutely. Depressing and entirely unfair? No question. But you both lost the future you were hoping to have together. Wishing you better to come.

Please don't include X with the boomers. Since we stepped into the real world and realized it functions completely differently than what we were raised to believe, life's just been a neverending string of "wait, that was wrong too?" We just want to survive another day under the radar.

Sorry fellow X'rs for publicly acknowledging our existence. Hopefully this post doesn't get any upvotes. *Pulls blanket back over my head.
