Yes. The fact that you vote or not, is a matter of public record. How you vote is not a matter of public record.

US bans government personnel in China from romantic or sexual relations with Chinese citizens

The headlines leave out the part where this is a requirement of their security clearance. It is not uncommon for those holding a security clearance to be discouraged or prohibited from relationships with foreign nationals. It also isn’t a direct prohibition, it would just result in a loss of their clearance, and you are absolutely correct that this will result in more leverage against US personnel.

It sounds like you are looking for a server that is ripe for bot abuse. What time frame did the admin say not more than 5 posts. I would tend to think they mean 5 posts a day which sounds completely reasonable to be for an upper limit on posts per day into a single sub.

North Carolina bill to curb mask-wearing in protests could make it illegal for medical reasons too
Would be nice to see the faces of those proud boys showing up at school board meetings too. If they realize that, expect the bill to die quickly.

Hmmm, it almost seems like poor leadership shouldn’t have spent 43 billion on stock buybacks over the last 10 years. Or, you know, resolve the strike and get your cash flow moving again.

I disagree, we also want people to nullify laws that are unjust, such as prosecuting a woman who decides to have an abortion. This is one of the means the people retain to fight tyranny.

100 is just the average. Most people score within 15 points in either direction of the average. The point being that 2 digit IQ occurs in about half the population. That said, his 79 still means he is dumb.

While precursors might have existed before this song released, most wouldn’t consider the internet existing before there were commercial options. These didn’t start to manifest until the internet protocol suite was released as open source in 1989 and commercial ISPs started selling access.

For those not familiar with it, it is an aptitude test that covers a wide range of topics. The results can be informational. Beware if you score well enough to fill a job in the army that is really understaffed, you will never get the recruiters to stop calling.

Is texting not a conversation, or is it just me?
I see texting as a method of asynchronous communication. I tell people, “If you need a fast reply from me, call, don’t text.”
It could be they just wanted to checkin and see how you were, not really looking to have a conversation. I think it really depends on what the opening text was.
