Technically Valheim is a soulslike? Right? It has stamina, dodge rolls, parrying, invincibility frames and boss fights.

Anyway, I will be playing Valheim 1.0 over the weekend.

Not OP but the 12.x upgrade has been flawless for me. No issues at all and a very significant speed bump.

You don't have to be pro PHP to realize "PHP has not improved since 2005" is bullshit.

Use Proton-GE! It has fixes to make the overlay work under Wayland.

I have been playing in HDR with a Steam Controller (which needs the overlay) for a while and it works perfectly.

Reminder that Blender is struggling with funding right now. https://topicroomsvfx.com/news/the-price-of-free-blenders-funding-crisis/

Make sure to leave it a few bucks if you use it. https://fund.blender.org/

I'm going to put Capcom on the same list EA and Ubisoft already are on. If the pirate has the better experience than the customer I see no reason to buy their games.

I hope they will switch their registrar. That's just unprofessional.

Plex has been hostile towards self-hosting since the very beginning. They have been asked to add local authentication for more than 10 years.

Intel has already deployed a fix for this in the 13th and 14th gen by permanently damaging the chip and crashing. Checkmate hackers.

Shoutout to Frictional Games (known for Penumbra, Amnesia, Soma) who publish many of their older (commercially successfully) games on their GitHub: https://github.com/FrictionalGames

rtings.com has a long running test for burn in on OLED and uniformity on LCD:

You have to push them quite hard to get any significant burn in.

My favorite thing to use IPv6 for is to use the privacy extension to get around IP blocks on YouTube when using alternative front ends. Blocked by Google on my laptop? No problem, let me just get another one of my 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 IP addresses.

I have a separate subnet which is IPv6 only and rotates through IP addresses every hour or so just for Indivious, Freetube and PipePipe.

According to their now deleted Reddit account, it will use a custom Proton build on Intel and Zen 4 CPUs. For every other CPU you will need a kernel module.

Great to see that Epic didn't snatch that one up.

I love Remedy and their games but their publisher choice is always atrocious.

How drunk are these guys?

Ask the dude that renamed Twitter to X (formerly Twitter).

It's twice as funny in this game because they added Denuvo a year after release. Meaning all pirates got the game DRM free on day one while paying customers got Denuvo patched in.

Absolute waste of money.

I once got banned for "vote brigading" on Reddit because I upvoted a crosspost that was deleted later, so this comes as no surprise. They have been monitoring upvotes and downvotes since forever.
