Tesla Robotaxi Freaks Out and Drives into Oncoming Traffic on First Day

Reply in thread

This technology purely exists to make human drivers redundant and put the money in the hands of big tech and eventually the ruling class composed off of politicians risk averse capitalists and beurocracy. There is no other explanation for robo taxis to exist. There are better solution like trains and metros which can solve the movement of people from point A to point B easily. It does not come with a 3x-10x capital growth that making human drivers redundant will for the big tech companies.

Not even communists. I have had communists as friends during my grad and undergrad. Tank triad are a worser kind. They actively hinders any discussion against China. Tianenmen? Never happened. Mao's genocide? western propaganda. Chinese imperialism in Tibet? China reclaiming its historical boundaries. Basically China and USSR can never do anything wrong. If they did, its western propaganda.

Also why cant they defederate from lemmy.ml? That should be technically possible as the code is open source and can be fetched easily to run an instance?

“The European Union won’t take chicken from America. They won’t take lobsters from America. They hate our beef because our beef is beautiful and theirs is weak. It’s unbelievable” Lutnick told FoxNews

American is the worst food in the whole world. Its better to go hungry than partaking in the excesses of highly processed american diet. Go to any supermarket and check the ingredients of american food and you will find stuff like malto dextrose, inverse sugar, dyglycerides, corn starch and high fructose syrup. All of these are rubbish ingredients which pollutes your body and makes you addicted. Stay away from american food for your own health. Buy EU/Canada/India/China/SEA etc but do not touch american products.

I would like to take a crack at this. There is this recent trend going around with ghiblifying one's picture. Its basically converting a picture into ghibli image. If you had trained it on free sources, this is not possible.

Internally an LLM works by having networks which activate based on certain signals. When you ask it a certain question. It creates a network of similar looking words and then gives it back to you. When u convert an image, you are doing something similar. You cannot form these networks and the threshold at which they activate without seeing copyrighted images from studio ghibli. There is no way in hell or heaven for that to happen.

OpenAI trained their models on pirated things just like meta did. So when an AI produces an image in style of something, it should attribute the person from which it actually took it. Thats not whats happening. Instead it just makes more money for the thief.

I can probably give some explanation. We as a household of 3 mainly cooks at home. We get fruits and veggies from costco and farmers markets mainly. The monthly grocery bills are close to 500$ with everything added up. We do try to eat as healthy as possible and cooks majority of the days. A days cooking almost looks like this

  • Breakfast: Eggs/bread/avocado etc
  • Lunch: Rice/Quinoa + salad/stir fry + protein(eggs/fish)
  • Dinner: steel cut oats with yogurt or something similar
  • Some snacks during the day and in the evening
  • Coffee(homemade to reduce cost)

Almost everything adds up. Asparagus is almost 5$ a bunch. Spinach adds up to 4$. Milk is close to 7$. At the end of month when we tallied up, it was close to 500$. I dont think we are actually eating that much or even buying a lot of junk. Post covid has been a ride
