I caved and dual booted win10 because of dx12 bug on nv*dia

Recently I got into playing Cyberpunk 2077 and it's a dx12 only game, no native vulkan support and need to be translated to vulkan which is bad because my framerate drop from 65fps to a merely 35-42fps because of dx12 bug, which is a lot of frames to lose. As soon as nvdia fix it or nvk driver caught up with nvdia proprietary driver I will remove win10. If you wondering why I have nvdia GPU because I only use laptop and an AMD laptop with the same power as nvdia is rare and even rarer in my country and also 2x more expensive. English is not my native language sorry if there's any mistakes.

Wasted money on junk xiaomi phone

Today I bought Xiaomi 12 pro for 100$ (a lot of money for me) it's considered a "flagship phone" by xiaomi back in the day, but after I got it home tried to unlock bootloader but it made impossible by xiaomi (I did checked on LineageOS site and see that the phone is supported with my model number that's why I bought it), you have no idea how much I wanna throw it to the brick wall but I need a phone for work I spare it for now but when I got my old Pixel 3 fixed I might have a little "fun" with it.

Debtap make downgrading packages easy on Archlinux

today I updated my system and Floorp is completely break userchrome (again) but this time it's very severe basically it doesn't load userchrome at all, so I look into a way to downgrading it but unsuccessful but I can just download .deb file then convert it to Arch installer with Debtap and install it with usual "paru -Udd" and everything just work. So if you haven't heard of this wonderful software yet I think you should check it out https://github.com/helixarch/debtap

my reason why you should use KDE+Krohnkite instead of WMs

  • Pros:
  1. system trays applet already works out of the box (still customizable to some extend at least more than gnome system trays)
  2. very good support for Wayland and VIDIA GPUs
  3. easy and quick to customize and you don't have to deal with CSS if you don't have much time to waste
  4. better integrated with KDE's softwares (Kdenlive, KDE connect, Konsole, Kate, Elisa...) which is my opinion some of the best softwares for Linux even better than Windows's in some cases
  5. friendly community (mostly)
  • Cons:
  1. you have to use KDE with Krohnkite
