There Are No Instances in atproto

I have to disagree with the author in a small, but essential detail: blogs have their own interface, independent from RSS, So I don't need the app to view Bob's stuff on his blog. As a PDS don't have a interface, the app/instance/interface is the only way to view Bob's stuff. RSS is a add-on over a working thing. But an app view is not a add-on, but a essential piece. BlueSky fixed a lot of the problems that made hosting relays and appviws hard and expensive, but to this day, it's not a option for selfhosting a single user Atmosphere presence, equivalent to a blog, while GoToSocial or SNAC2 offer exactly this.

Propaganda

Chinese action manhua with a romantic subplot: by volume two the protagonist is married and with a healthy sex life.

Japanese Acton manga with a romantic subplot: maybe, at the end of the history, the protagonist will kiss the romantic interest.

Japan needs to learn how to make propaganda.

If people can’t afford to do anything, then they don’t have freedom.

OP shared a thought. I pointed this is a formal concept and pointed the name, so they can search for more. The concept describes a real and observable phenomena.

Why are you bringing moral judgement of people here? Even if poor people are guilt of their own poverty (they aren't) like you are implying, it doesn't change they are formally, but not really free. Marx description stills holds up.

Ghost 6.0 releases next month with ActivityPub support

Ghost is a powerful app for professional publishers to create, share, and grow a business around their content. It comes with modern tools to build a website, publish content, send newsletters & offer paid subscriptions to members.

For me, this first paragraph from the site says clearly that they are a tool to build sites and sell content.
