China’s ‘artificial sun’ breaks nuclear fusion limit thought to be impossible

but isnt it being centralized being the point? I have the (probably not so rare) tin foil theory that big energy spends a lot of money to dampen solar and other decentralized power generation. As a politician you have to ask yourself, do I get nice packages from big energy for not looking so closely when another forest is turned into a hole or do I hope that 20000 random people try to bribe me for something. In terms of money gain for a few big power plant is double plus good. Boring solar might be better for all of us, the rest, but not for the guys calling the shots. This all assumes of course that there is no empathy at all in the local legislation

Reply in thread

This probably breaks some rules

Yeah srsly, how. Its so evenly, if its not a liquid iron pipeline i cannot phantom how this happens except Photoshop. Eletric stuff is usually bolts or cables, most gas stuff isn't that hot, maybe some chemical piping but i don't know enough about chemical processing to actually guess.

A young men came out to operate the pump? Really? In Germany, within the last 30 years? This seems highly unlikely. Those places are almost never manned with more than one person and they don't leave the counter.

This assumes human women are some kind of breeding facility, which they Are not, few men won't impregnate many women if not for apocalyptic scenarios, there fore that argument doesn't work. A young mother needs a lot of support, a man that just gives his semen and disappears afterwards is not very helpful in that case. Children are a multiplayer experience for a long time, not just a moment
