What's your plan if Trump wins in November?

We are pretty much screwed any way you slice it. Make sure you’ve got a trusted network of people, make sure you’ve got your passport renewed. Make sure you’ve got some coins stashed away.

But also, get into local government. Go to a city meeting. It sounds dumb but if you’re not involved then you’re not informed and have no power. A lot of cities have the power of ordinances that can make life less hellish.

Look up climate feedback loops cause we’re already over the edge on that crap. Ain’t nothing to be done except start living underground.

I installed a DVD player under the TV

I’m thinking about picking up a nice blu-ray player since I read somewhere they’re shutting down production of the nicer players, I guess cheap ones are winning out or something. So easy to find at the thrift store for $3. Physical media is just more intentional and feels good too. Special features anyone? I applaud you sir.

Anyone have experience with using a trailer with ebikes?

Your ebike has a larger axle than most bikes so the attachment for the trailer will need to be drilled larger to accommodate. Assuming this ebike is hub drive. If the bike is mid drive then you will probably need a thru axle adapter for your trailer. It’s all pretty much dependent on the rear axle of the bike. Get a name brand trailer like Burley or Copilot. Don’t go blasting around with your kid?? Ha, otherwise ride safely. Trailers can be tricky. Get your bike professionally adjusted and check brakes, wheel fasteners and tire pressure regularly.

How do you spend multiple days in the saddle without discomfort?

Get yourself a Brookseather saddle or something real nice. Two quality chamois shorts. Chamois or anti chafe cream. Get your bike fitted to you. And yes, build the “memory” of long days in the saddle.

Wear one chamois with the cream on your nice well fitting saddle (doesn’t have to be leather but they are nice for long days because they are smooth and low friction and they have suspension to them, plus you’re not dropping your soft bits into foam which can be hot and increase friction). Take a few breaks throw out the day and stretch a bit. Alternate days with different chamois shorts (nice $100 ones and don’t wear anything else) so they stay drier and don’t funk up. Make sure your bike fit is optimal, yes you can do this yourself but a quality fitter will set you up probably (hopefully) better than you can yourself.
