DEI ACTUALLY CAN HELP PEOPLE.

I'm not upvoting this.
it's a fantastic, well-reasoned post, but I don't believe it's an unpopular opinion to at all.
The public conversation around DEI is highly polarized which creates a false impression that a balanced, pragmatic view like this is rare. I think you've articulated a middle ground that most people hold

Seeing NSFW post titles just makes me want to respond to them neutrally.

Any intentional choice made to capture human attention functions as an algorithm.

For instance, when a creator posts an intentionally silly title, it triggers a predictable urge in users to comment on that silliness. This deliberate cause-and-effect cycle means the creator's strategy itself is the engagement-driving algorithm. A good example of this human-designed system is ragebaiting which systematically uses manufactured outrage to multiply views and comments

My 1TB hard drive took a crap reformatted it, lost all my info, and it works now. How do I use a cloud or drive online to backup my stuff so I am not relying just on physical and can dl anywhere?

Generally speaking, you'll want to follow the 3-2-1 storage rule.
(3 Copies, 2 Media Types, 1 Off-site)
Copy 1 would be the original info saved on your main drive or wherever you access them immediately. Copy 2 is a local backup saved to an external hard drive or a home server, ideally one that's powered off and not connected to direct power (lightning strikes)
Copy 3 can either be a cloud storage backup (such as Google Drive or OneDrive) or a copy kept at a friend's house.

Remote workers report the highest well-being, while those who worked entirely onsite reported the lowest in study of 7,700 employees

I'm definitely an outlier here; I really dislike not working in the office. I completely lose my sense of routine and I like how the office forces me into one, plus I co-regulate with people around. I do still think however that it's imperative that people have the freedom to choose whether they can work from home or not though.

As an adult male, how do I compliment females?

For starters don't call women females. Yes it's technically accurate or whatever but that's beside the point.
Generally avoid complimenting their physique or appearance. Other than that, just be nice to them the way you are with your friends and be platonic by default. "Cool shoes."
But like, also be genuine about it. If they aren't cool shoes then don't say they're cool shoes. Find something else that's cool.

Would AI Be Hated As Much If It Wasn't As Resource Intensive?

Any good thing is ruined once it's co-opted by capitalism.
AI and LLMs (In my very very personal and completely subjective opinion) is the coolest shit humanity has ever invented and under the right system would've been unanimously celebrated.
But noooooooo, capitalism had to go and fucking turn a miraculous tool for human creativity and knowledge into a relentless driver of layoffs, corporate slop and copyright theft because some greedy fucks want more money for themselves than they know what to do with.
But, well, that's just, like, my opinion, man.
