Would anyone be willing to help working on a Spritely Goblins environment but for Rust?

For those who don't know, Spritely is an organisation building various tools to create decentralized applications with object capability security. It is run by familiar names that have participated in the creation of ActivityPub: Jessica Talon and Christine Lemmer-Webber.

The library that they created (currently implemented in Guile and Racket Scheme) called Goblins, allows the creation of such applications easily. A Rust implementation would be really useful for its performance, memory safety and thread safety, things that I believe would help develop the Spritely environment.

There are 5 stages to start implementing Goblins (0 to 4) and I have currently implemented stage 0 and 1. The source code can fe found here: https://codeberg.org/spritely/goblins. Each stages are in the pre-goblins folder. As I approached implementing stage 2 and looked at the overall architecture, I realized how much bigger this project was going to be. I took a lot of time understanding how Goblin works, and even more developping the initial stages. I'm admittedly still a beginner in software development and in making full projects in Rust. Therefore, I encountered several issues that required changes to the architecture of my implementation several times.

I am planning to make my implementation open source after I document stage 1 and make sure I didn't put any redundant enums and traits. I'm mostly making this post to wonder if anyone would be interested to jump in, or even contribute from time to time? Documenting would even help a lot, since I'm not the best at explaining things in a clear and concise way. So any sort of help, even bug finding or suggestions, would be very helpful!

Is tteokbokki banned in North Korea?

I was looking up information on the meal as I am quite fond of it. But a section on the Wikipedia page has me a bit confused:

Tteokbokki was brought by restaurateurs to North Korea in 2017 and became a popular dish there. In 2024, North Korea banned the sale of tteokbokki, along with budae-jjigae, from sale in restaurants because the dishes are of South Korean origin.

The source is Radio Free Asia, and I understand they're a propaganda outlet. But does anyone have any information on the meal's status in North Korea?

Why is the BBS down?

I got a bunch of firmware issues afte updating my system (i don't think it was an arch linux update, but still), and then I start getting awful lag spike, and my computer crashes, stating lack of ram. My caps lock light doesn't toggle, so I think it's a lower level issue.

Anyways, I tried going on the forums to see if anyone had similar issues lately, but it seems to be down.

Has anyone got issues with their drivers, or is it just my laptop getting too old?

Grub doesn't lead to choosing an OS, even when exiting the Grub terminal

When I set up Grub with dual-boot, I already had the issue of booting to a terminal instead of the selection of OS, but I brushed it off, since I could just type "exit" (sometimes I'd have to type it again in another Grub terminal that appeared shortly after) and it would show me the OS selections.

However, ever since I updated my computer to a new version of popOS, typing "exit" just puts me in a black screen. I tried running a grub fixer app, and resetting my grub configurations, but the issue is still there.

For now, I have to type a bunch of commands in order to boot my computer, which isn't that bad, but the problem is that I'm not the only one using it, so I was wondering if anyone went through something similar and/or has a fix for this issue.

Rabbit not feeling well

I went dowmstairs to fill her food and water as usual, but she didn't eat. And when I pet her, she seemed to be falling asleep with her eyes closed. I got her out of her cage and tried giving her hay, but she didn't eat any until 15 minutes later. I'm relieved that she's eating now but she barely moves. She was completely fine yesterday. Has this ever happened to anyone?

edit: typo

follow up: she is doing better. she had an upset stomach because my dad fed her a carrot :/
