Do you think this guy likes me, or is he just being nice?

It's not that it's unusual, it's just that similar behavior is also an abusive tactic called love bombing. Imo, I think the kid is just being a bit awkward, but that doesn't mean this behavior isn't a problem. Like you said, it's (probably) just teenagers being teenagers, but I don't see anything wrong with pointing out how this can be a problem.

Like most situations, the best thing OP and friend can do is have a candid conversation about how they're feeling towards one another and figure out what they're both looking to get out of a relationship. Having been 19 myself, I doubt that conversation will happen in a way that is "correct", but at the very least she now knows that love bombing is a thing and that it's important to think about your own safety, wants, and needs

That or something really grassy/funky like a rhum agricole or an unaged cachaca (technically not rum). I'd swap the honey syrup for regular simple though. I could see honey clashing more with everything else than rum and mezcal clashing

I choose violence

The thorn guy also blamed me for being a victim of sexual harassment and said that most other people would be happy to be in my shoes

Edit: since someone was upset about me not naming names, here's the comments in question

The post is referring to american protestant denominations like baptists, evangelicals, presbyterian, etc. as opposed to capital P Protestant churches. They're usually in smaller buildings that aren't full-time churches/ the space is often used for non-sermon church functions. For example, my childhood southern Baptist church was based out of a community center room that held ~40 people and hadnt been updated since the 80s
