Nobody is forcing you to use sync, hell nobody is even asking you to try it. So why not stop being one of the spiteful angry assholes that is driving people away from Lemmy.

Fwiw, they aren't expired, they just stop getting feature updates after a while. They still get security updates and they work perfectly, software gets updates etc. Essentially the same as MacBooks. So no, not at got as getting a Windows laptop but not as bad is getting screwed by apple

To be fair, had he lived longer then he would have received a Nobel prize for his work in astro physics in relation to gravitational collapse. This work would later become far more important than his other work as his contributions would lead to the discovery of black holes

I remember when I was younger RC plane and helicopter community was all about doing night flights with lots of lights and other things on their vehicles. I remember seeing tricking stuff on the fronts of RC hobby magazines with guides on how to do it.

Altruistic kindness
Happened to me once, inside of my car was absolutely soaked, puddles on the floor even. I let it dry in the sun with windows open for a while after drying off as best I could. Still soaked. Solution was putting it in the garage, taking a dehumidifier and sticking it in the bank seat and running it over night. By morning it was dry as a bone.

Let the manufacturer know they need to update their driver's when you find new ones. They should be doing that automatically or they may have a reason they aren't pushing them to windows update
