Trump floats renaming Lake Ontario to 'Lake America,' denies claim he'd interfere with Canadians speaking French
They weren't talking about "speaking French". They were demanding that US products be exempt from having to label things in both French and English.

A child’s skull showing both primary and permanent teeth.
These images always seem a little weird to me. Is the outer layer of bone in the cheeks and jaw carved away to show the teeth, or does it just grow over at some point later in life? Because there are no giant gaps in a normal adult skull.

Canada to announce retaliatory tariffs as Trump tells its leaders to ‘fall in line’
I think Carney's been more than polite enough, up to this point. It's time to tell Trump to go fuck himself.

Or...he knew he could disarm that bomb in less than 40 seconds. This was a power move.

Israel’s Netanyahu claims Iran tried to kill one of his sons
Netanyahu's claim comes after US and Israel killed Iran's supreme leader and four members of his family in Tehran.
Hmmm. I wonder if there's some connection to be found here. It's a chin-scratcher, alright.

‘Freudian slip’: Vance calls Canada a state when criticizing its trade relations with the U.S.
Speaking to the trade negotiations that fell apart over the weekend, the vice president said he thought the two North American countries had reached a deal, but then Canada “came in with a bunch of unreasonable last-minute demands.”
He did not specify what those demands were but said negotiations are “still ongoing.”
It was actually the US that imposed the "unreasonable last-minute demands". They wanted restrictions on Canada's ability to negotiate trade agreements with other foreign countries, and to lift bilingual labeling requirements on US products sold in Canada.
These fucks can go fuck themselves, if they think they can force Canada to only do business with them, all while beaking off about how much Canada "needs the US". And Canada is a bilingual country, so having both French and English on products sold in Canada, is non-negotiable.

Trump Declares Canada 'Will Be Treated Like a State No Longer' as He Announces 50% Tariffs
Reply in thread
That would require these actions to be included in Title 18 of the US Code.
Meaning, there would need to be specific legislation written to describe both the crime and the punishment. This would require an act of Congress to correct, so if you want to see this happen, you'd better elect the right people to represent you in Washington...or at the very least, write or call the ones you currently have, and push them to make this a priority.
Most of what Trump is doing are not criminal violations and so have no direct punishment attached to them. They are simply "not legally allowed" under the conditions outlined by the Constitution.

Different tariffs. But, yes...even if these do get implemented, they will eventually get thrown out in court for the same reason. He simply doesn't have the authority to do this. Only Congress does.
