Every uninformed opinion about the Reddit blackouts
Is the permanent blackout a scheduled thing, or is it because all the apps will go down?

Lemmings, what's your guess on how long Lemmy will take to mature enough and have better content than Reddit?
I would say reddit's golden years were around 2012. Since it started around 2005 that gave it 7 years to get as good as it was in 2012. If Lemmy follows the same formula, it may take about the same amount of time, but reddit saw exponential growth when Dig shot itself in the foot, much like reddit is currently doing, so it's possible we may get a jump start. Who's to say really?

Once Lemmy is huge, won't it have the same problems as Reddit?
You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

A lot of it is because of safety. It's harder to slip underneath the water level if the tub is just about the length of your legs, this is especially important when your bath is particularly relaxing

SCP CLASSES
I thought the classes were less an indication of danger and more how hard is it to contain

What is the worst movie you've ever seen?
Star Wars:The Rise of Skywalker. I have never left a movie feeling like my intelligence was insulted until that movie.

What are some of the best purchases of your life?
A good pocket/utility knife and sharpening set. You don't need to spend hundreds, but my favorite is my Spyderco Para 3 Lightweight. It has a 3 inch blade, weighs 68 grams, and it's made of BD1N steel which keeps an edge very well.

Reddit Refugees
I'm glad I quit reddit, it was way too big for its own good. Even when most people who participated in the blackout go back, I will be severely limiting my time there. I'm excited to see the same communities popping up I liked to see on reddit, and hopefully with a smaller userbase we can stay active!

Not just the firing pin, but the side, barrel, and plenty of other parts on a Glock are not just metal but steel. The frame is the only thing that's plastic.

Google raising price of YouTube Premium to $13.99 per month
I was grandfathered into their oldest pricing model back when Google Play Music was at its peak, and now they're hiking my price too. I'll be glad to see the subscription go and use revanced, but I need a better music streaming platform that's 10 dollars or less
