Last week i saw a couple of times that "Fedora killed libre office" but still don't understand why and how. Someone is so kind to explain that to me?
They didn't. LibreOffice devs wanted to provide support exclusively through Flatpak. Thus making native installations not supported. In stead of spending time on maintaining native package they just tell users to use Flatpak. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/46ZZ6GZ2W3G4OJYX3BIWTAW75H37TVW6/

Is it reasonable to be concerned about security issues when switching to Linux?
Your concerns are valid.
In my opinion the easiest solution, if you don't know what youre doing (or dont wanna care) would be to use exclusively an immutable distro. That would lock you out of tweaking the system, but also heavily limit any potential malware. This should be sufficient imo:

TIL - Linux supports tilted monitors... apparently 22° is best
Meh, screen angle is constant. Not impressed until it supports screens with a constant angular velocity.

Which privacy-focused search engine are you using?
Just using duckduckgo. I'm not happy with my search results as they heavily prioritize clickbait CEO blogs instead of showing official documentation / sources.

Use user agent switcher and set it to something random. However that makes your fingerprint unique. I've read that people set it to windows just to blend in the masses

Phoronix: Several Linux Kernel Driver Maintainers Removed Due To Their Association To Russia
This is such an odd thing to do... I really cannot see the benefits for the project doing this. Maybe those maintainers were payed for their work and sanctions prohibit paying them or something?
