the reason Michael Caine and Tim Curry are so good in their respective Muppet movies is that Michael Caine treats the Muppets as fellow actors, and Tim Curry treats himself as a fellow Muppet

I loved the response he gave for that rumor.

It was essentially... "Do you think I'd be here giving this interview if I could do that?

Love that he knew about the rumor.

Man... Im watching Stargate sg1 with my kiddo. My Plex server is down for a bit.. so I switched over to prime for an episode or two..

It's dark, it's audio is horrible, it's 4:3 formatted it's horribly compressed and it has commercials.

Talk about a poor viewing experience.

Not watching is better than watching...

Well that explains why I'm seeing full page popups saying I need to disable my adblocker on certain sites..

Okay.. I've resisted long enough. I'll make the switch to Firefox tonight

To abuse a saying...

Best time to be on Firefox? Yesterday.

Second best? Today.

Tldr They started charging 3rd party apps to use their API. The API that they had been using for ages and ages. They were shady about the timeline and their communication to devs was awful. So most 3rd party apps decided to end support as opposed to paying reddit.

Basically they wanted to make sure all users were seeing ads before their IPO.

I was a relay for reddit guy for ~10 years. Once the subscription update hit I uninstalled and moved to boost for lemmy.

Louise Fletcher from all accounts was a lovely human. But man she plays bitch wonderfully

First season is a touch rough... 2-4 are a masterclass on scifi. Fifth season is so so. They thought that tbs was going to cancel them so they wrapped up on the 4th season... Only to be renewed last minute.

Here's the viewing order The Gathering Seasons 1-4 Thirdspace In the Beginning Season 5 River of Souls A Call to Arms Crusade Legend of the Rangers Lost Tales

It's hands down the best scifi show.

Here's the lurkers guide http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/

Man youre so right.... You know they are going console 1st.. then when sales die down they will release on PC. Same rinse and repeat bull shit as before.

My question is going to be how online will this one be? If it's two separate deals like 5 then cool... If not. I'm probably going to pass.

Man this is so true.. my manager HATES it when I'm not in office. Granted she doesn't interact with me and I'm not a mission critical person... But every other Wednesday is in office day.. and if she happens to stroll by and I'm not in.. I hear about it.
