Now imagine how much power will be wasted circumventing it.

Garry Newman: The new Unity pricing would have cost him $410,000 of lifetime revenue
The enshittification continues.
Watch for more products that enable normal people to do great things to become paywalled. Only your gatekeeper masters may direct the market, and the creativity. In their infinite wisdom, they demand the control of gods.
Billionaires are a mistake.
EDIT: and I love the bait-and-switch of charging anyone who ever used Unity, even under different terms. Electric chair for the CEO.

This is not a good look for brave.
Brave? The browser that hides ads and substitutes their own? The one that keeps you private from Google AdSense so they can sell your data themselves? The one that keeps their Chromium build lean, so that you don’t notice the crypto miner running along side of it?
The fucking PayPal Honey of browsers? When the fuck did they ever look good? They’re like the “Banzai Buddy” of the HTML5 era

Trump admin slammed as ‘stupidest’ ever after linking WWII plane ‘Enola Gay’ to DEI
“MOST controversially”???
They’re deleting the Tuskegee Airmen! An all-black Army fighter and bomber group!
They are literally calling them “DEI” when they’re from a time where they couldn’t share water fountains with white people.
That Big Ball’s regex he pulled from a Twitch extension tutorial on setting up automod highlighting found the word “Gay” an no one reviewed the context is certainly one of the dumbest things, but cmon it’s hardly the fucking worst shit they’re doing.
They are literally deleting our history in front of us. Fuck these guys, may they be tried, convicted, and sentenced to death!

Georgia law is that grand jurors names are public.
Yeah, pretty naive. Or evil. Maybe both?

Trump’s Idiot Lawyer Just Admitted He May Be Guilty of Insurrection
What a dumb article, who came up with the angle on this piece of shit?
“She said it doesn’t matter if he’s an insurrectionist or not! That means she knows he’s guilty!” is some literal schoolyard logic.
What we should be more concerned with is:

Israel's Netanyahu calls Hamas 'Nazis' at Holocaust memorial
It’s wasn’t the ethnic cleansing of Jews that was bad, it was the ethnic cleansing of Jews that was bad.
The more Israelis who wake up to this, the better.

After seeing Wi-Fi network named “STINKY,” Navy found hidden Starlink dish on US warship
Reply in thread
Yeah but if they go on mission and “go dark” then you still have this starlink thing that may or may not be disabled by the person smuggling it on board. It may also be connected to official things if the owner has bad intentions, or if someone else who does finds it and co-opts it.
There is a lot that could go wrong with unauthorized radio transmission equipment on a warship, and not all of it is obvious.

/r/wholesomememes bans reposts posts, nobody posts for two days
Back in the 90s there was an article about some “spam king” guy who was blasting out millions of emails and basically crushing mail servers and making inboxes useless. They interviewed him and he was all indignant about it like “I have the right to do this” and all that.
That is when I knew the internet and humanity was doomed from the start.
