The great thing is that you can simply uninstall it and leave an inspiring review.

Is RAID1 over USB Reliable?
I do not recommend it. I ran two USB hard drives for over a year in BTRFS RAID1, and I had millions of errors repaired every month when I scrubbed it.

Google Wallet now lets you share boarding passes
Some airlines can't even get Apple Wallet right yet :(
My local airline's website is also incompetently developed. My SO couldn't add boarding passes to Apple Wallet because the URL in the email was malformed, and on top of that, their website kept giving us same boarding pass with my name on it when we clicked on our individual names. The only place with the correct boarding passes was the first confirmation email they sent us, which had some deep-fried-esque low quality jpegs.

A lot of my motivation for starting random useless side projects is unfortunately “because I can” and the learning experience from using a new framework or library.

Ubuntu is my daily driver but I'm thinking of setting this up on my never used Raspberry PI -- anyone using it? How tough do you think it will be as a first project?

What's the alternative to doing this? Is it safer to read the script first and then execute it as
sh ./install.sh?

Well I just switched to KDE Plasma last week and I'm pleasantly surprised just how many things are configurable via a menu and how well it runs on Wayland With a Nvidia GPU.
I used to despise KDE Neon, and used Gnome for a bit, but I don't think I can go back anymore until their design philosophy changes again.

I hate gestures
As an Android user who’s glad that iOS gestures have been “copied” on my Samsung phone, I respectfully disagree. Gestures seem to work relatively reliably and keep navigation muscle memory uniform between my iPad and phone.
Let’s not forget the fantastic bonus of having all that screen real estate not being taken up by software navigation buttons like on older android phones.

Throwback Tuesday - Show us your oldest Android screenshots!
- 2012, Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II 4G
This is probably Go Launcher/Locker with the stock Samsung TouchWiz nightmare. 2.3 Gingerbread 🍪 ⛄
- 2013, Nexus 4
I got really attached to the Deus Ex: Human Revolution aesthetic, so I tried to reflect it on whatever devices I owned.
4.2 Jellybean with Nova Launcher.
I miss having a nice minimal screen like this because my S22U homescreen is a (very functional) disaster now.

What a time to be alive. I can see the fridge becoming sad and disobedient when the air conditioner goes "away" for 9 months until next summer, and then turns off all lights in retaliation.

tell me your experience using zfs/btrfs
Been using BTRFS on a couple NAS servers for 4+ years. Also did raid1 BTRFS over two USB hard drives connected to a Pi4 (yes this should be absolutely illegal).
The USB raid1 had a couple checksum errors that were easily fixed via scrub last year and the other two servers have been running without any issues. I assume it's been fine since they're all connected to a UPS and since I run weekly scrubs.
I enjoyed CoW and snapshots so much that I've been using it on my main Arch install's (I use Arch btw) root drive and storage drives (in BTRFS raid1) for the last 4 months without issue.
