This is actually something that will probably piss off a lot of New Hampshire residents, actually. They generally vote Republican for stupid libertarian reasons, but they also REALLY do not like the Feds intervening in their shit, and this is that.

Libertarians and the Right both don't want the State mandating car seats for their boyfriends/girlfriends. Birds of a feather.

Libertarians are just MAGA that are too chicknshit to commit to the bit.

Since when do you need any form of ID to vote? I can’t think of a single time I have had to, even when I had to file a provisional ballot because my name wasn’t in the ledger for some reason.

This was my first time having to provide it in NC. And for a kicker, NC is literally set up to support digital drivers' licenses and state-issued ID's, but won't start until December this year.

It's all tools in a shitty toolbox to suppress as many voters as they can. God forbid we have actual democracy in this country.

Since Republicans spread the lie that illegal immigrants were taking all our jobs and showing up at polling places to take part in our democracy. They're crafty!

Depends on where you live. I've had to show my id several times. Republicans could attempt to hide what they're doing if they gave reasonable time-frames for people to get IDs. Instead, they don't give a shit how obvious it is. Make a new rule that goes into effect exactly on election day for all they care. As long as they tip the odds in their favor, it couldn't matter less to them what they have to do.

Until I moved to the PNW I'd voted in Ohio and Kentucky, both of which made me show ID to vote at least since Obama in Ohio

ID is required at least in some states, and in my home state of Michigan, if you do not have ID you have to sign an affidavit and your ballot goes through a special process.

SCOTUS is nothing more than a bunch of rapists fucks traitors and morons and three wonderful people, but still fully illegitimate.

8

Absolutely disgusting and blatant voter suppression... And they'll get away with it if we don't vote!

Power exerting itself unfairly (short time before), you don't have time to adjust.

Legal and ethical are not always the same thing.

I’m just saying, all but 1 of the democrat appointed justices agreed with the Republican appointed justices.

Headlines are provocative, the details of the case are always more complicated and nuanced. If it were 6-3 or 5-4, I would be less forgiving. But when it’s 9-1, I will be more forgiving.
