im on day 11 of waiting for my up to 10 day delivery package and its maybe getting delivered today
one of the two packages is now stuck at the same place for a while and the second got put on a van but i think the package shop had break time when they tried to deliver it. They are closed midday for 2 hours.
Im contemplating if i should try to get it today now after work or if i get it when the website says its there.
Maybe the system is even faulty and my first package is already waiting for me.
reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Edit: it arrived at the pickup so im not mildly infuriated anymore :D

Anyone else remember "please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery"?
wouldnt be a problem for me if they gave accurate delivery information
To be fair, back then.
It really wasn't 6-8 weeks for a package to travel to its destination. The bulk of that was inefficient human order processing.
And if you got to week 9 and it's almost week 10, would you not be mildly upset about it?
I remember slow shipping and was usually upset if my "6-8 week" took the full 8 weeks.
the one time it made me upset because it was a week late and it arrived the day before i really really needed it. Very anxious time
Fret not, still alive and well if you need anything from state or federal government. Simple unemployment claim first payment? Passport application (these are getting much better but it's still what is claimed)? When a business owes you a refund?
My wife keeps an amazon subscription. I keep on saying anything arriving after 2 days she should be complaining to them about. Isn't that why you are paying for the thing???
They used to give you something for being late and not fulfilling the promised date like a few dollars as a gift card. Now they just shrug and say tough shit.
I ordered something with a two day delivery time, after ordering I got a confirmation it would take three to five work days, and after the fifth day I got an e-mail that it would take longer. Currently on day ten and counting.
rip (rest in package)
I had a funny thing with the package tracking where I could see my package being accidentally sent to the wrong city, and having to be sent back to the original warehouse so it could make it to me :3
Anywho, having worked in delivery im pretty familiar with how this kind of stuff happens where a package seemingly stops at one spot for a while, so I try not to get mad at the workers
i somehow cant get mad at workers i think are low paid. But companies and high paid people on the other hand...
