Unless one of them maxed out their handle animal skill. A housecat would require a skill of one or two at the most.

A cat can't even take on a common villager. And a single level 1 character should be killing at least a couple villager, unless they roll bad.

Fun fact: RAW a cat can't jump in 5E (2014) because they have a negative strength modifier.

It's a joke from 3.5. Cats are hard to hit due to their size modifier. Commoners have 4hp, minimum damage is 1. Cat has to hit 4 times to kill, commoner has to hit once but the math is not in their favor.

Dude at the back's headed for a plate glass window just to get away from that cat.

I'm imagining the scene playing out in slow motion as Ave Maria drowns out must of the screams, whilst that cat leaps from face to face, all nimbly bimbly (sic?).

Is it Molino? I'm having trouble looking up their other works but I don't want to claim I know better after two searches.

It's a rabbit hole, that’s for sure. Reckon it's legit though, no idea why.

3

It's funny because he treated the subject matter (cat) with the same energy he put into his disaster paintings.

4

Reminds me of the time a dog wandered into our backyard and my parents' cat jumped on the poor thing's back and dug her claws in.

3

Call me crazy, but I have this weird suspicion that Walter Molino was a dog person.

Edit: Or a misanthrope, I suppose.

'Traditional' for this community means traditional medium. So this qualifies.
