Fortunately I use linux at work and at home for years now.
The rest of my family apparently hate themselves and use windows... I can now just use the excuse that it's too long since I've used windows and can't help.

I work for one of those full-Microslop-stack companies. I don't even get admin rights.
And with that attitude you probably shouldn’t.
There's not a great deal of choice for software devs right now. Job is job.
Well, then, deal with being in a Microsoft shop. Don’t like it? Go elsewhere.

Unfortunately yes, although it's hopefully not commonplace for my ad bloated W11 start menu to take 10 seconds to open.
For real. Once in a blue moon I have to use windows at work or to help a family member, I always forget just how bad it is.
