Believe it or not, not banned by Tesseract.
Blahaj as a whole was blocked.
Oooh, thanks, I was sad my name wasn't there. You kinda made my hour haha.
OP isn’t blahaj.
[email protected] is tho, which I think is what they meant
It is what I meant, yes. Thank you!
I'm not angry....just disappointed...
Wait, that's illegal.
Straight2Jail
Believe it or not!
"Hello, Ripley?"
I think you have your heroes confused: Dean Cain played Superman, Sigourney Weaver was in Alien.
I'm not sure whether to Believe It Or Not!
George isn’t at home - please leave a message at the beep.
Not hatsune miku! Jungkook save us!
how DARE you D:
Yes… mods this one right here
Mods, get him, you know what to do.
MONSTER
You broke the Rule!
...rule
We live in a FREE COUNTRY
I am a sovereign shitposter
NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO STOP US
Not a big deal to most, but I was so annoyed by almost every post in my feed being some stupid image that just said "rule", so 196 was one of the first and (and only) entire communities I blocked. Shitpost has much more worthwhile content!
Rule!
First off: how dare you.
🤫
Can someone explain?
The sub c/196 (and similarly, r/196) has a rule that you have to post before leaving the sub. OP didn't post on c/196, instead, posted here.
You forgot to mention c/196 and c/196. Both are somewhat smaller than c/196 but are essentially the same comms.
But those should not be confused with c/1960s
There is also c/onehundredninetysix
That's simply another name for c/196.
Oh, thanks! Looks like another shitpost type community. I'll join. Lol
You should have posted this in c/196
I got banned for my one and only comment on there 🤣
Which was?
Explaining what freedom of religion does and does not entail.
Holy shit you're horrible! How are you not in prison?
They're misrepresenting what they said. The actual comment was an islamophobic tirade on a post about someone getting fired after asking for a break so they could pray in private.
After getting pissed off about the audacity of that person to ask for a break to pray and claiming that they were somehow imposing their religion on others in doing so, they said
which is probably why they got banned.
That's a muslim-special addon, the "tirade" was generic and affects all religions equally.
Everyone gets breaks, asking for special treatment is where the line is drawn. Access to places others don't have access to is special treatment. If you want a prayer room you should find an employer willing to entertain your bullshit to their own detriment.
It's like a smoker asking for a special smoker break room. No, you get to go outside, buddy, yes, even in a blizzard.
I know, right? With the way things are going, that's probably in my future.
There are rules?
Uh oh...
I'd have to post so much, despite being a moron.
Fuck that!
Lol I pissed off 196 by telling them to look out for each other and to not praise kys posts
I made one post and got banned. Claimed it was for misogyny? What? I can't even remember the post.
I pressed the burger menu and "user moderation history".
All I have to comment is: literally 1984
Expecting accountability is not misogyny. People have every right to express themselves freely, but should also be aware of how that might also be received by others. They can choose to not care, mind you, but they should still be cogent of it.
196 communities are still around? Those were the first communities I blocked when I came to Lemmy.
Commenting on shitpost that you are too good for 196 is a great quality shitcomment
I never said I was too good for it. I just found it annoying and it was dominating my feed.
If that is the case, just letting you know it comes across as such, at least to me. Although I also think it makes it a great comment
Why??
I didn't really find it funny and it was dominating my feed.
