Your profile shows your cake day is Nov 30th, 2024. You posted 1.1k times. You post about twice a day. Math does not check out.

I always found it funny as hell when someone on reddit would get super offended by me "stalking them" i.e. literally reading a post they made half an hour before, lol.

They've literally posted something on the internet for the world to see. Can't get mad when someone reads it🙄🤣.

I don't give two shits. Unless it effects real world life. But more curious how they came up with the average. Wish I kept comment or post it was under.

The math at 1103 posts (that's what is showing for me when looking at their profile right now) ÷ 602 days is only 1.83 posts per day.

However, eyeballing their account it does seem they average 6 posts a day if they are posting, with some days dragging that average up - for example they have a day with 15 posts

No, you have to post less to get bigger numbers because of the inverse square law.

You could google it and make a TIL post but be sure not to share a sources that is too new or has low view numbers. "They" are watching

Fuck AI and everything, but it was most likely an LLM scraping your profile.

Not to mention they are also a nurse who came here for advice on how to help a ten year old patient who really wants to learn how to code.

I take that back. If you want to call me an ex-coder. We used to have a Packard Bell computer from wal-mart and learned how to open the disk drive by typing in: D;/open

God I wish. That's my brother. Always wanted to be one but I can never understand it. Always wanted to suck a crank ton from banks and rich bastards then give it all to charities. It would be worth it to watch the government justify taking money out of the poor hand's. I would sign up to do life in jail if I could make that happen.

I still do not understand why supposedly 3 people use this account. You realize accounts are free and each of you could have your own account?

Yeah but a whole average? Don't you need to go thru 3 days for that?

-1

No, you just need to look at the total number of posts, account creation date, calculate the difference between today and the account creation date, then divide the number of posts through the result. Easy math I would expect any average teenager to be able to do.

1

Your profile is a year and a half old, you have 1.1k posts. Year is 365 days. 12/3=4. Maybe they did a little bit more but you don’t need much information to get a decent guess.

2

I remember seeing that comment. I got the impression it was pulled out of the air and wasn't based on a calculated metric.

To be honest, I would have put your average higher, but I guess that depends on if you're looking at the mean average, the mode, or even just a recent trend

I'd say they looked at your profile and divided your post count by your account age but you've only posted about 2 posts per day. Or ~3.5 combined posts/comments.

So maybe they looked at your posts over some other time interval. Or maybe they made up a number. Or maybe... some third thing.

3

Ok so that's the third interger thank you so much...no sarcasm...have a good rest of the weekend.

There's a tool on reddit that can summarize a bunch of stats if you put in a username. I wonder if there's something like that for lemmy.

That just show my post history. I can go to profile to see that. But not the stats.
