If fishing worked like this I would totally start doing that.

I recall theres something like a little ball you put on your rod instead of a fishing line that feeds the fish instead of catching them. If you are in really clear water you then get to see all the fish eating the fish food you put in the ball.

Its been decades so im blanking on the actual device. But it kinda looks like a bigger tea ball.

No need to actually eat the fish and works with conventional fishing rods. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I think I'd enjoy that. I bloody love everything about fishing, the quiet, the patience, the forced appreciation of the beauty of the area, the fresh air, the excitement of the "will they bite wont they bite" and so on and so on.

Then a fish bites and you've completely fucked up its life if not killed it and you have to live with that guilt.

You can also just throw some fish bait into the water. You don't need a special ball or anything.

Wasn't there this one fishing show, were one dude went around the world to catch and release everything really hard to catch just for glory? And then they terminated the show because there was no fish hard to catch.

If there was a Fisherman DLC for Risk of Rain, that would be their "outro" text.

Quite unrealistic.

How could a paperclip clipped to a paper hold the entire weight of a fish without slipping?
