Turkey Vulture!
A common fellow to be sure, but not one I had personally seen (since starting birdwatching) and certainly unexpected in my neighborhood first thing in the morning. I had no clue how big these guys got, scared the hell out of me at first ๐

I've only briefly worked with one wild baby turkey vulture, but our 2 ambassadors, Zsa-Zsa the turkey vulture and Reaper the Black vulture are such sweet birds. I love them so much!
Don't get too close to them things they like to puke rotten meat in your direction to scare you off.
Is it is not surprising that it is 100% effective on me
And they pee down their legs for that sweet evaporative cooling effect.
