Given the level of financial inequality across the planet, I'd hazard a guess that this experience is significantly more widespread than just one country.
I was just reading an article about how France’s new PM resigned after 14 hours because to some degree they’re all afraid of tackling the issue of no one being able to afford living anymore. There’s obviously more to it, but my British boss working in the states also told me about how the UK basically had zero options for normal people too. It’s rough everywhere, but we also shouldn’t let that stop us here in the US from trying to make progress on the issue at home.
There is only one solution 🤷♂️
Yeah and some countries never had retirement, at least like they do here. If we’re hurting they’re dying.

Considering how stressed I am about my finances - even though I started investing early, have a solid buffer, track my expenses, and am self-employed with the ability to influence my income - I can only imagine what it must be like for someone with none of that, when even I’m barely scraping by.
It's frustrating to barely break even each month while having no expenses to cut down on.
I feel bad for kids. I’m never gonna retire… you’re never gonna take my job.
When are these reports, with all of their stats and analysis, just admit that this all by design. We're all just slaves to the owning class.
Yep, pulled down my 401k input because that little bit extra is needed at the moment.
I went into debt again because of some car trouble. Ugh.
But hey... At least grocery prices are down.
