Did I just see this right... I'm the play store is listed as having ads?

Lemmy users are strange, they want a free and open internet, and they think it cost nothing to run. It's totally normal to expect the app dev to eat and afford shelter. I also use Boost and I can tell you with a single one time payment, ads are removed.

It's not even an expensive payment either. 4$, and all the ads are gone forever. But I guess internet users are gonna internet...

block them or pay for the app, problem solved.

Time isn't free and development takes a lot of it.

Summit is definitely my favorite Lemmy client, 10/10 would recommend

Voyager is really nice. I poked around Jerboa and a few of the instance specific PWAs before landing here and haven't moved since

Sync all day baby. It's just so clean and compact. And the swipeability is great.

Dev really needs to be more active to catch up with changes in new lemmy versions.

5

I still love Sync and use it every day, but it hasn't been updated in a year. Everything seems to be working fine, but I do think about when something breaks if it'll get fixed...

4

It doesn't hide read posts permanently anymore which effectively breaks the browsing experience imo. I switched to Boost and aside from a lack of gestures it's pretty on par.

3

Summit dev is god for me. I can't even imagine using Lemmy without Summit.

7

Do you know if the Raccoon devs read reviews on Google Play? I have a few suggestions and I've posted them in a review but if they only read issues from git or something similar I'll talk there too

Hell yeah, love a good appreciation post! Thunder has been treating me well!

You reached the end

Special shout out to the Summit dev who's been on fire lately | Spyke
