Tawny Owl I Photographed Near Hartshead Moor
First time using multiple flashguns at night, not the best option for owls I know. Suggested I cross post here from the birding community

First time using a multi flash setup at night, quite stressful to get the amount of fill right, lots of wasted shots.

Seems very late but this Great Crested Grieve was still sitting on eggs today. They had chosen a spot right next to some black cap gulls so cant have been the quietest spot

Barn Owl hunting during mid morning, guess it has young mouths to feed.
Shot at Bempton Cliffs on my xt50 and 150-500mm
Never appreciated how green these were till I saw the sea going cousin of the Cormorant in person.

Another remaster from early in the year
Xt50 & 150-500mm Tamron
For those that don't know, I started digital photography this year after many decades since I gave up film photography due to cost and time.
Its been a journey relearning old skills and learning all the new tricks like editing. Hence posting this photo from February, which i have finally gotten closer to the colours I see in my head when I see a bluetit with this remaster.
Alternative title, I go my own way
Taken at Middleton Lakes on my XT50 & 150-500mm Tamron
Egrets and Herons are just the goofiest flyers
XT50 & Tamron 150-500mm
Lock up your fish and chips, its the unmatched predator of the unwary holiday maker, the humble gull.
Taken with my XT50 & 50-140mm Fuji
Starting to get a little better at panning.
Taken with my xt50 & Tamron 150-500mm
Always struggle to capture iridescence fully but managed to get its colour changing nature here.

Goose must have stayed there a good twenty minutes watching me watching it and the other birds

Was at Wells Palace & Gardens when I came across this adorable family of Moor Hens with the tinest chicks I have seen yet. Been collectively raised with about five adults.
Took with my Fuji XT50 & 50-140mm as I wasnt expecting to need my Tamron, hence the shots not as sharp as I would like.
