Wow ya really bought back some childhood nostalgia for me. My mother was pregnant at the time and I was really worried that she was gonna die. I'd play MP2 for hours on end just to keep my mind busy. Thankfully things went smoothly but this game is super dear to me ever since.

Basically since there have been no modern wars faught in America yet the terrain is free of any dangerous things like mines and bombs. Meanwhile Europe is full of unexploded bombs which are remamanents of the decades of past (and even present) conflicts there. Lakes in particular are full of explosives like those since is basically impossible to recover and safely disaem like land mines.

From an evolutionary point of view it makes sense since shiting and pissing would take a while and would leave and would leave the animal vulnerable to attack. Since shitting would take longer than pissing anyway it makes more sense to shit and piss at the same time and be done with both while you're at it. On the other hand since pissing is much faster if would make sense to keep it short and piss quickly without shitting.
