Obviously the whole Reddit fiasco got a lot of eyes on alternatives like Spyke, but now that it's dying down a bit I'm wondering how Spyke could continue to expand now.

Like a lot of others, I've been looking at Reddit alternatives recently which is what landed me here at Spyke.

How do you think Skype compares to Reddit? But also, for people who have tried other Reddit alternatives than Spyke, how do they compare? What has been the pros and cons of each community for you?

It would be great to be able to keep up with Spyke on any device!

I assume influence is somewhat like karma in Reddit. But why do we start with 8,085?
