What happened to Reddit might happen to Twitter if this goes on. The Twitter exodus is becoming a real possibility.

Threads/Insta is gonna destroy them, just like FB killed MySpace.

Muskrat might just be the dumbest motherfucker on the planet. Twitter wasn't just "a brand", it was so ubiquitous that "tweet/tweeting" was added to the Oxford dictionary ten frigging years ago. This is like Kleenex changing their name to X-tissue.

At this point, I feel like it comes down to two possibilities:

  1. He's an edgelord narcissist manchild who's been obsessed with branding things as "X" for 30 years and thinks he can pull this off.

  2. The Saudis (and possibly others) gave him a bunch of money with no expectation of getting a return because they want him to burn it to the ground and prevent another Arab Spring type event.

Can someone give a clue for the chess move at 16? It's been a while since I played and that one is stumping us.

Also, this game is hilarious. Sent it to my wife a bit ago and she just came storming into the bedroom saying "fuck you! What the fuck is this shit?!?" 🤣

I just deleted all my accounts on reddit. Left with the closing remarks of 'FU SPEZ' In a way I'm happy to leave. That…

I'm torn. The big subs are definitely toxic shitholes at this point, but I spent most of my time on smaller subs dedicated to various video & board games, musicians/bands, sports teams, animals (mostly cats), etc, and I'm going to miss those smaller, tight knit communities.

Fingers crossed that this app takes off and gives us a suitable refuge.

TBF, in one episode they mention that grandpa Simpson sold his house to buy this one for Homer and his family with the expectation that he would then live with them. Of course they immediately shipped him off to an old folks home lol.

There's also lots of episodes where they have trouble paying bills and whatnot, so even with a fully paid off house they were still clearly struggling to stay alive water. In the latter years the show turned into "wacky adventure of the week featuring X guest star", but in the early years they did a decent job of humanizing them.
