The west took in millions of middle eastern refuges and the oil rich muslim countries took 0

Because -

  • The Wests economy is built on debt. It needs a constant flow of steady tax payers to prop up the debt-based pension systems.

  • Large swathes of the Wests GDP rests on real estate value, which needs a constant flow of people to increase in value. Without the flow of endless refugees, the prices go down, and so does the GDP and all the associated debt/borrowing with it.

  • Big businesses want to suppress wages. Easiest way to do that is expand the labour pool by constantly importing new workers to compete with existing workers.

  • The left wings institutional dominance and their envisioned multicultural utopia.

  • Cynical politicians who know wants up want more chaos and less populace unification, because it gives them the excuse to accrue more power.

Preety sure white guilt was somewhere in there too

Trump is a genius

Trump doesn't have control of any institutions. Companies have control of them. Congressmen are just the middlemen who push the buttons for them, and Trump is just the reality TV star who convinced the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet that giving all power in the world to billionaires was going to help impoverished idiots like themselves

There are multiple different factions at play here. Russia owns Trump (because he's been laundering money for the Russian mob for the last 50 years), big businesses own the smaller politicians, Trump is the glue that brings all the different deplorable voting blocs together

Trump passes hundreds of execution orders BECAUSE they aren't laws - they're perfect for his PR. He can say he's accomplishing anything, and he'll have a fancy Official Document to point at to "prove" it to his voters.

But nothing actually has to happen after that, which means the big businesses don't actually have to sacrifice anything, so the magical stupid grift machine can keep turning infinitely. We're so cooked man.

My best friend is a Cristian and is as foul as they come.

He and his wife used a list provided by the church that was an approved movie listing for their children until age 18. When they would stay with us, we’d have PG and PG-13 movies that our daughter would watch in middle school/HS and they made us feel like shit when they would ask us to stop a movie our daughter was watching in front of them. A month ago, their college aged daughter complained to her therapist when she saw a large dildo and lube ordered on her parents Amazon account. She didn’t know how to deal with it.

Real reason we're the capitol of school shootings

I completely agree that you can't have shootings without guns.

That being said was a point where there were virtually zero school shootings though, in the pre-columbine days.

And in those days, the % of Americans reporting to live in a home with a firearm was actually higher pre-columbine as well.

The biggest change post-columbine was the obsessive sports-like reporting on shootings by the media, showing mentally ill and suicidal individuals that they could get their names in the history books and on the lips of every person, pundit, and politician in the country if they would just pick up a rifle and commit a shocking atrocity.

This also explains why we see controversial firearms used at places of innocence such as elementary schools. These shooters know that they will get more attention with the above combo than they would with a pump shotgun at the bingo parlor.

I'd bet that the media could have a massive impact on the number of school shootings if they made it a point to not report on these outside of local news, but fat chance they'd miss out on the profits.
