I hate your electrician so bad. I had a similar issue where some electrician climbed the pole outside my house, snapped the fiber and then didn't even bother to tell anyone about it. Found out after 2 days of no internet once my ISP looked into it.

Probably highly unlikely there's gonna be any sort of i invention derived from downed alien tech. Kind of like inventing an LCD screen from a broken screen that was dropped out of a plane. Not to mention the end product says nothing about the technology that is needed to build the tools that built the product. For instance knowing that a chip has a 2 nm gates is useless without knowing how the fabrication process works. And these are just examples of human tech. Chances are we're not even going to be able to comprehend alien tech that is at least a thousand years ahead.
