I once had a dream where my university developed a simulated world that people in the real world could go and visit, and in that world I met a really good friend who had a weak heart and wasn’t going to live much longer (or something like that, I don’t quite remember what it is, and I am not lonely, I have plenty of friends irl). We weren’t supposed to tell the people in the simulation about the truth of their world, but I told her anyway because she didn’t have much longer to live. We really wanted to go to the outside world together, but we figured that wasn’t possible. Nevertheless, when we got to the log-out area, she somehow came to the real world with us. There was so little emphasis on that part, it was brushed right off like it was nothing important. Anyways, after that the details get fuzzy, but we did a bunch of things, and because of the interaction between the simulated world and the real one, reality started changing in weird ways. All I remember from the end of the dream is that I lost her somehow, and before the story ended, I woke up. The dream was so real I still feel sad that the people I knew in the dream are gone.
I had this bizarre dream where I was at a family reunion but it was in a haunted house! Halfway through, all my cousins started turning into ghosts and I was convinced I had to become a Ghostbuster to stop the madness. Lol, still don't know what my subconscious was thinking that night. I was also playing resident evil 7 back then so maybe it has something to do with that.
I don't remember many specific dreams, but I do have a strange trend in my dreams.
I can't see the sky.
In my dreams, there is no sky/outside. I can't see out windows, and whenever I go through walls or doors, there's always another room. even when it's supposed to be an outside wall. I'll be lucid dreaming and trying to get outside, and no matter how far i go, there's always another room. I go up through the ceiling, there's another floor. It doesn't matter if the house/building I'm in is somewhere that exists irl and it only has one floor or that was the last room. My dream just makes more. and even if I'm lucid dreaming, i can't force there to be an outside. Once, I tried making an attic and went up through the roof, thinking that it would be too illogical to not go outside, right? nope. I sat on the roof and looked up. i was sitting on the outside of a house..... with a bigger house around it.
I'm a lucid dreamer too. Happy to find another lucid dreamer.
I noticed that for me, the environment depends on my emotions, while the actions depend on my thoughts.
Like I once had this dream where I had to go to the office after 7pm. It was raining outside, so I wore a raincoat and started cycling.
My office is past a hill, (it's a place I pass by IRL, called Sonsoddo). When I reach the hilltop, the streetlights begin to stutter. Then I noticed a glowing white figure crossing the road downhill. Curious, I decided to speed the cycle downhill and wasn't surprised when I saw a ghost stare right into my soul.
I woke up in a cold sweat, and realised I wasn't wearing a sweater and was shivering. Technically my body woke me up with a nightmare so that I could warm myself up.
I mean I don't have like the ability to intentionally have lucid dreams, it just halogens sometimes. and not always. I feel like my experience on that front is pretty normal.
lmao for some reason, the word "happen" (and all its forms) is one of the words my phone's keyboard has the most trouble with.
It happens so often that on my discord server, I have a custom emoji that's just a hairbrush (with the name :happened:) that everybody spams whenever I make a typo. lol
(it's a hairbrush because "happened" -> "hairbrush" is my most common typo)
Weirdest dream I had was when I was living in a world where everyone was a giant walking taco, and I was the only human trying to communicate with them. Then it turned into a thriller chase as they tried to season me with hot sauce.
It's like a twisted food themed episode of The Twilight Zone. On a side note, how do the giant walking tacos communicate with each other? Like do they use sign language or some kind of telepathic taco beam?
Gotta be the one where I was in a giant amusement park made of marshmallows. It was like everything was edible, and there were so many people just munching on the rides and stuff lmao. I joined in, ofc. Things took a strange turn when a bunch of squirrels appeared outta nowhere and started attacking everyone, like in a full-on war. Woke up feeling both amused and weirded out lol.

Still a better plot than twilight
It was certainly a strange one

Okay we need editing comments asap.
