idk if this is a problem for anyone else, but for me, when I play embedded YouTube videos, the media controls don't work. The only button that works is the fullscreen button.

Personally, I prefer to click the "view in YouTube" button whenever I'm watching an embedded YouTube video cause it's just better on the YouTube app (plus then i can comment and read comments), but the button doesn't work in Spyke.

Lemme know if you're also experiencing this problem.

Has anyone seen what's going on on Reddit lately?

So people were worried that merely turning their subreddits into shitposting subs wouldn't be enough.

so now they're marking their subs as NSFW so that Reddit can't advertise on their subreddits.

When I click on a notification, I do appreciate that it shows only the thread in question, but I would also like to be able to see any further replies to the thread.

As it is, I wouldn't be able to see @person's second comment. or any other replies to their first. unless i show all comments on the whole post and then look through them all to find the thread again.

At this point, there aren't enough comments on posts for this to be a big issue, but for the sake of scalability...

It would be great if we had a way to search Spyke for posts, users, and clans. (there may not be a lot now, but that's bound to change)

I think it would be great to get a search function on the home page that can search through all posts, clans and users. preferably with some filtering options.

I like the way Discord does filters in their searches.

On Discord, you can add to the beginning of your search "has: [image, link, video, file, etc] and it searches for messages that have what you typed in them. or "From: [user's name]" and it searches messages sent by that user and "in: [channel name]" and it filters only results from in that channel (or clan in our case)

I think this would be very useful.

So there was something I haven't really thought about often that Reddit has that I have been very painfully aware of not existing on Spyke.

That's the indicators that tell you who the user in a comment is. Lol I'm not explaining it well.

Like on reddit, the OP has a little blue "OP" next to their name in their comments, and subreddit moderators have a green "Mod". I think this would be really helpful in more easily identifying important people's comments.
