Is a career as a pilot worth it?

Apparently the certifications and licensing are really extensive, especially if you want to fly commercial international. The adventure and travel is of course there. It is a sexy profession. The pay is not nearly as good as it once was but it is still very good.

Honestly it makes sense to see how one does with a basic pilot’s license class and small 1-2 passenger aircraft first. If you love that, a lot, go be a pilot 👍

Job security is really lack luster though. After spending crores on education I feel at least job security should be excellent.

Do pilots work any other jobs if their commercial pilot job goes bust?

I've heard pilots work on delivery and sight seeing planes. But that is abroad though. The market for that must be preety small here.

Need at least 1cr minimum and there is still no job guarantee. Papa ki paise chaapne wali machine hai toh no problem.
