What scifi weapon would you want?
Reason from the book Snowcrash. It's essentially some highly advanced smart minigun that fits in a suit case. Mostly so I can say something like "I'll make them listen to Reason" before I use it.

He's plays amazingly hateable characters in stuff. My favorites are Dick Jones in Robocop and Cohaagen in Total Recall

The HL2 multiplayer set to gravity gun only was so fun. We called it "pie fight" since it was 3 Stoogles style chaos. The only thing missing was that you couldn't use a person's previous body to kill them. I so wanted to yell "stop hitting yourself" as I bashed someone with their own corpse.

It's called a Mixxtape if you want to check it out. The gimmick is fun, though honestly I rarely make use of it.

Hard to be sure of the percentages with regards to ethnicity, you better reduce him to 1% slices by mass to be fair to everyone.

You forgot they season it with moss, musk, or some random type of wood. WTF do they think I am, a termite?

That is exactly the type I am recommending really. Mine is super gimmicky, but fun. It is shaped like a cassette and can be put into a cassette player and actually work. I have a 256GB sdcard in it, works fine with all my mp3s and flacs.

I'm a big fan of Etymotic wired IEMs. They aren't for everyone, but they have a good balanced sound and isolate well and every once in a while you can find them on a very good sale.

I've seen too many charging ports ruined by being pulled at weird angles. You're making the same choice I am, I just use a crappy DAP now because I am not going back to a spyware phone.

RK61Pro - Is this keyboard realy QMK compatible? How do I enter flash mode?
As far as I am aware, Royal Kludge boards have never been QMK compatible, they are programmable only with their included tool which wouldn't let you change the sort of thing you're looking for. I suppose that it is possible that it uses QMK "under the hood", but they don't expose it in any way. I'd guess that any claims that it is QMK compatible are from using AI to make translations and promotional images.

I work with some companies still running code from the late 90s, so I know this feel. It IS scary and I can only tell them to stop so much.

I was told in school that Java applets were the future and they made us take a class that focused heavily on them. I did make a few games in applets, but they were always janky and I am glad they are dead.

We've used airbnb twice because it was for a whole house and I have a severely disabled daughter who can get loud and physically disruptive. Those were the only family vacations that we've ever been able to take because hotels generally can't accommodate us. This isn't a common requirement, and if not for that special use case, I'd pick a hotel every time.

Applets were killed before that due to repeated severe security issues and Sun fucking around and not making them good in my recollection. Flash was just easiest applets with no Java and died for much of the same reason a decade later.

I'd drop credit cards in a heartbeat if I thought it was safe to use direct debit cards out in the world or cash made a comeback.
