To be fair, not every Chinese restaurant knows how to slice duck properly. The proper way slices the meat and skin off of the bones, so that each piece has a bit of meat and skin, and presents the flesh separately from the bones.

Some places though just hack into the carcass so that every piece has bone. They say it's 'fun.' I as an ethnic Chinese say it's ridiculous. I have had it done right and I have had it done poorly and surprisingly the price point is the same! Some places really skimp on the seasoning too, at the same price point.

Other dishes tend to be fairly similar across different restaurants but it seems like with duck you can really tell who gives a shit / was trained properly as a chef.

The owners of the corporations own the govt. They are loyal to no company and no country. They can take their money anywhere, but so long as they are in the us they would prefer that the tax burden be shifted onto the people and off of them, with as few restrictions as possible on their own behavior.

The owners are still quite happy with trump. It's all of the littler con voters who are hopefully now reconsidering their vote.

I'm upvoting because this should actually be unpopular. Intrusive ads are bad but less intrusive ones let you know who the patrons are of the otherwise highly expensive services you enjoy. That all of this gets paid for with ad money is nothing less than a miracle. If you don't want to see ads then don't give them your notice! I like being informed when new products go to market.
