It very much does in winter at least. Benches conduct significantly less heat away from your body than the ground, which can more easily cause death of hypothermia. Even with layers of insulation.

The traditional suburban street design of winding roads and cul-de-sacs is just as responsible for U.S. car dependency as the distances created by sprawl, according to new Yale research.
Reply in thread
Depends on the length of the cul-de-sac to be honest. It's not unreasonable to have a bus stop at the entry, if it's less than 200ish meters away from the furthest home.

Right, but even then, a significant portion of the cul-de-sacs homes can still be serviced. Just those close to the entry/exit.
There are also recommendations that bus stops should only be about 200 meters apart. That seems to match my experience when living in a small-ish town. Some parts were inevitable underserved, but that's hardly avoidable I think.

Kompletter Stillstand in ganz Deutschland: Bahn stellt Zugverkehr bundesweit ein – Funknetz ausgefallen
Reply in thread
Was soll denn eine zentrale Stelle da überhaupt an Mehrwert bringen?

The police don't hunt you down unless the victim filed a criminal complaint with them first. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antragsdelikt
Except for politicians, for some reason they're exempt though there seem to be plans to change this because it's incredibly unpopular.

Over here it's very much a criminal offense, so this only applies to some countries.

Are You Kids On Dopamine?
This assumes executive dysfunction only ever comes from lack of (available) dopamine though.
It's better advice than stressing yourself out, sure, but it may just be useless.
The only thing that has ever worked for me - and I have tried giving myself treats before and during a task - are hard, immovable deadlines.

They were a bit too absolute-y in my opinion.
But yeah, there's no harm in trying to see whether it will work for you.

More than I expected to be honest, Germany has a rate of 75€ per day which would result in a whopping 400,000€. Austria has between 20€-50€ per day for instance.

Though that verifiable monetary loss is subject to be reduced by the cost of free housing, food, etc in prison. After all, you would've spent money on cost of living had you not been imprisoned!

Arch users when they discover they contain 98% "bloated" Junk DNA:
To be honest, DNA is stupid anyway. Worst data format ever invented.
I mean, a single mutation to get sickle cell anemia? Use fucking error correction codes, dammit! No, having everything twice is not error correction. It's only error detection and the detected error is just silently ignored and randomly passed on to your offspring.
Where are the damn backups? 3-2-1 should hold for every data format! How would an offsite backup be designed? I don't know I'm not evolution incorporated.
Why are viruses even a thing??? There is no reason EVER to be able to insert new DNA into your genome. Make it read only! With checksums! Why is there no Denuvo DNA-DRM?
Slightly unrelated but even worse, your immune system is literally only controlled by the equivalent of HTTP. Deactivate completely? Attack everything on sight? No authorization required whatsoever! Just use the public API! Surely nothing could exploit this, right??
Small Edit as a response to everyone mentioning the need to change for evolution:
Maybe, just maybe use a test environment? You don't just push to production the moment you make a change. Move fast and break things my ass. Since women already have the production environment just create a similar structure in men! They already have TESTicles after all.
