Or use a search engine to access it in general. Anna's Archive itself is a search engine, it's better to just bookmark it and search for stuff directly from there.

"Redfall is looking awesome, it has Arkane's best gunplay yet."

Not for long, Linux will get targeted like this as it becomes more popular. It's more of an argument for OpenBSD if anything, since OpenBSD will never be popular on desktop and it's developers take security very seriously.

See, this is why the liveservice model is fundementally bad. Even if they don't fuck it up on launch, they can always fuck it up later.

Stick to offline folks.

There are no consequences for the leadership when they fuck up.

Did it run better?

The fact of this gets posted and upvoted on [email protected] shows how much goodwill Google burned with the enthusiast community.

You see they are a multibillion dollar corporation, so them doing it is good actually, it encourages iNnOvAtIoN.

Why.

Lmao, that's what they spent the meme stonks money on?

There is actually a fantastic video essay about Gamestop bros by Folding Ideas (the guy who made Line Goes Up) called "This is financial advise". I highly recommend listening to it, the whole thing turned out to be way more complicated than it seemed.

Also nobody trusts them. Why spend money on Highguard when there is no guarantee the game will still exist next year? They already layed off some important people.

If Highguard targeted low end hardware, included mod support and bundled in the server so that players can host and moderate their matches themselves and had no monetization beyond the initial price tag people would be all over it. But for some reason nobody does that anymore.

You can still play Quake III today, if it was doable then it's more than doable now. But multiplayer game devs seemingly left behind that player first approach for good.

My hope would be that this encourages open source engine usage but it'll probably simply make Unreal Engine more popular instead.

Once my phone becomes that limited I may as well go back to a feature phone after mine stops being usable.

Paying money to save money from imaginary lost sales...

Yup, I wonder if that's HDMI Forum's fault though. I hear they are insufferable.

Ninth circle of hell. It's a streaming platform that's infamous for basically never banning anyone, so it attracted all sorts of sketchy or downright evil folk.

BG3 guys continuing to be awesome.

15 years? What about 80 years? There are movies from the 40s that are still under copyright.
