Should I delete the Google app from my phone?
I wouldn't risk it personally. If you want to de-google your phone you should probably unlock the bootloader (you'll lose all data) and flash a custom rom

I used to use it but then I just downloaded aria2 (what motrix is using) and it's as fast as motrix with a little bit of configuration. aria2 supports both direct downloads and magnet links, it's a command line tool though

Why do you personally prefer using an Android phone?
Because you can install any apk you want so you can get apps from github/f-droid. on ios to sideload you need to do some stuff with itunes iirc

A few months ago someone (journalist?) claimed authorities cracked his 30+ char strong Veracrypt (or TrueCrypt?) passphrase. His computer was turned off when apprehended. I can not locate the story.
If the user was using Windows, fast startup could have been enabled so they were able to extract the password from the RAM maybe? Other than that I don't know

if you refer to the hardware as "PC" then you are wrong, the OS utilizes the hardware and uses it. it cannot destroy it, and even if it could by using a lot of resources, "controlling" is the wrong word here. Microsoft owns the OS, not your computer and/or its hardware
