Suggestions for Stage Makeup

Hi all, hope this is an ok place to post this question.

I am currently looking for the brand name of a stage makeup I recently saw that was a spray on. It appeared really smooth and seemed to dry pretty quickly. The performers were using it to create clean, black surfaces underneath masks.

Hopefully someone in this community may have an idea what brand or style of product this is. A web search seems to return results primarily around people asking if they can spray paint themselves.

Darksiders 4 Announced. Solo or 4 Player Co-op

cross-posted from: https://sh.itjust.works/post/43285035

What a time to announce all 4 horseman of the apocalypse (Is that now GenAI, Climate Change, Genocide and Technofacism?) are coming in the close future.

From the companies press release:

_“The legendary saga of the Four Horsemen continues in Darksiders 4, an all-new action-adventure set in an apocalyptic version of earth and continues where the original Darksiders game left off.

Darksiders 4 is a 3rd person action adventure game featuring combat, traversal and puzzle solving in a lore rich post apocalyptic world.”_

I have some level of excitement for this. Darksiders ability to never fully die is a sign of industry health to me. I have made multiple attempts to jump in to the first 2 from PS3 to PC to the remasters on X Series, PS4 and Switch (also stadia in keeping with my post history). The most recent switch attempt lasted the longest.

Not exactly sure what my completion percent was when I finally wandered off to something else that sparkled and caught my eye (probably a stressful day at work and whatever CoD was on the Xbox front page) but I remember feeling like it had finally clicked. The puzzles seemed engaging enough, I was vibing with the upgrade grind and the whole thing was ridiculous enough I’d give it a recommend finally.

Darksiders is a video game ass video game and it sort of knows it. It also has a side that feels like someone had a vhs of the Dolph Lundgren Masters of the Universe movie they watched a little too much growing up and that was their embodiment of dark fantasy. Mike Mignolas artwork was great as always and it just kind of worked. The series is straight B grade gaming and that’s my sweet spot. I also had a problem with the Beastmaster and the USA channel growing up so take my opinion with that context.

All that aside, it’s a goddamn miracle we’re getting the (hopefully) final game in a series that never really stood a chance of a 3rd mainline release not far after it was initially launched.

Best of luck Gunfire, let’s hope you can fight the tide of the live service, post game content, line goes up dev cycle and put out something you’re all proud of.

BTRFS migration from Unraid to Proxmox

Hi all,

It's been a long... years at work and my brain is fried currently with no bandwidth to properly determine how to migrate a BTFRS array from unraid over to proxmox. I can see the array in proxmox and am able to mount it but now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to

  1. verify that the data is intact
  2. assign it to a storage pool for use in vm's
  3. view it within proxmox

I haven't touched proxmox in years after settling on unraid a while back, but am looking to move back to a non-unraid config.

Anyone here have experience with btfrs and proxmox? Any good links to a tutorial or video?

Thanks!

Alternative to Requestarr for *arr Stack User Requests

Hey all,

I've been using requestarr via Discord for the past year or so to have a remote user request option for my *arr stack.

Looking to move away from Discord completely and have been having trouble finding an alternate that would run on a more FOSS or secure platform. I run discovarr my local users but I'm hesitant to post that up as a web app for external access.

Does anybody around here know of a program or app or container even that would provide similar or replacement functionality via Matrix or signal or something of the like?

Thanks!

Elden Ring Player to Sue FromSoftware Over High Game Difficulty

Another article that highlighs inherent flaws in the American legal system. How can this potentially be an actual lawsuit? How can "journalists" even entertain reporting on this?

Honestly I'm just posting to laugh at my fellow lemmings responses and watch see how the plaintiff is roasted for not gitting gud.

But, there is a real conversation here around continued ignorance of game development and the value of difficult games as a value proposition. Afterall, the person attempting to sue from did choose to purchase the games willingly knowing they're not for scrub casuals like themselves.

What do you all think, is difficulty gating content a real issue? Should dev's have some kind of legal requirement to appease players that can spec a build properly? Is it Thursday and I'm just looking for some easy laughs at a morons expense?
