Trump Shares Posts Pitching Himself as Speaker and Calling Kevin McCarthy a Traitor
They put a far right super majority in the supreme court, are trying to put their candidate in Congress as speaker and then re-elect him to the executive branch.
We all know they're fucking Nazis, but, just saying, this sure seems like some 1930's Germany shit, right now. Like it's obvious and all, but still needs to be said out loud.
Would be a lot cooler if we were not trying to replicate that shit.

And SpaceX as a whole. It's entirely government funded anyway. Should have kept that money in NASA where it belonged. Fortunately, there's an easy way to put it all right back.

Colorado GOP Threatens to Go Rogue If Trump Decision Stands
Remember when people who employed fascist rhetoric, incited riots at Capitols, tried to destroy democracy and kill a sitting Vice President were considered terrorists by everyone and weren't to be negotiated with?
Pepperidge Farms does.

Organic, huh?
Copper sulphate is a listed "organic" fungicide despite not having any carbon atoms.

FYI - This is the Dilbert guy.
NOT the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy guy. That's Douglas Adams.
Also, NOT the old school text adventure game guy. That's this Scott Adams.

70º in December
My kids won't have this problem. Given the circumstances that have been obvious for 40-50 years I made the best and most responsible parenting decision possible. I didn't have any.

They aren't, and I'm sick of being told they are
Ya know what was a foundational part of the American dream? Pensions. Ya know which employers still offer them? Counties, states and the federal government.
Private companies exist solely to make the people at the top very rich based on the stolen value of employee labor while dumping catastrophic losses in the public sphere. That's capitalism in a nutshell.
You'd have to be unbelievably gullible, naive, traumatized AND brainwashed to be a diehard for a system like that. But, somehow they've managed it. A deluded nation of Amway top performers just one move away from making their own imaginary millions. All simping for the system.

Scientist warn 1 billion on track to die from climate change.
This rule is actually "an order of magnitude best estimate", which means it's more of a range, somewhere between 0.1 to 10 deaths per 1000 tons of carbon burned.
That leaves a lot of room for scenarios even more dire than the one outlined here.
"When climate scientists run their models and then report on them, everybody leans toward being conservative, because no one wants to sound like Doctor Doom," explains Pierce.
"We've done that here too and it still doesn't look good."
Translation: 10 billion people will die.
2nd translation: Almost everyone will die.

Sometimes just sitting in the lobby or the start menu
Even table games before that served much the same purpose, similar with sports and some hobbies. It's much easier to talk about something or over something while engaging in an activity. They provide a default topic, a medium, a space and a diversion from unwelcome topics when needed; an agreed upon means of social interaction.

13 Months

If the first was Monday as he describes, every 12th would be a Friday. There would be exactly zero Fridays on the 13th of any month.
Every 13th would only be Friday if the first was on Sunday.

Ban dihydrogen monoxide
Dihydrogen monoxide isn't a good name for water, especially in this context. Hydroxic acid or hydrogen hydroxide make much more sense.
Water only splits into O2 and H2 under electrolysis, not due to acid/base chemistry. You have to be actively adding electrons. In solution, it dissociates into ion states as protons H+ and hydroxide OH-.

There's a steep decline in pay compared to the value workers add to the economy, closely tracking the fall in union membership.
Remember: Workers make the machinery. Then, workers use the machinery to make more things. It may be different workers at different stages, but workers are the only means of production. Everything is produced by someone working to do so.
Join a union.

Did something bad happen to you? Don't fucking tell the cops and don't seek any help because people are awful and want to make you as miserable as possible whenever they can. That's the unfortunate reality we live in.
