The easy clean is really due to how the induction coil heats the pan but not the cooktop surface. With the surface only heating indirectly it's really not possible for stuff to burn on nearly as badly. At least when compared to a conventional radiant electric. The surface just doesn't get as hot.

It seems to me that the preposition usage corresponds to the boarding language pretty closely. Where "on" sounds most natural is also where "boarding" seems most appropriate.

The schedule/route condition makes a lot of sense to me. Consider a bus converted to personal use as an rv:

"I boarded my bus and drove to the mountains" is a valid English sentence, but it sounds odd to me. But if it's still a regular bus and drove->rode it works.

"I drove to the mountains in my bus" sounds better. Same vehicle as a city/school bus, different context. Change to a regular bus and drove->rode doesn't sound right without also changing "in my" to "on the".

Not worthless. The coinage had intrinsic value, being made of metals with a commodity value. So it's not like holding a paper banknote when a government collapses. People would still have used them to hoard savings, for trade and melted down as a source of precious metals.

That was really the only value they ever had. Boosted a bit by confidence in the purity (but also reduced when Rome debased its coinage).

Fun fact - the bacteria commonly associated with food poisoning from rice (bacillus cereus) produces several toxins that make you sick. And those toxins are heat stable.
