We never wash our belts, although they are the first thing we touch when leaving the toilet, even before we wash our hands
Well, as far as I know it hasn't gotten me sick yet.
Thanks for the new fear, though 🙃

Musk is undeniably just trying to run twitter into the ground at this point.

I think the real money now is selling data for AI training. At least that's the vibe I'm getting now from all these social media sites limiting API shit. We live in weird times.

Goodnight, RIF

Agreed. I've been using the RIF format for a decade, would love a Lemmy app that captured the vibe. Connect for Lemmy is good but I miss that RiF feel.

Smoking decreases IQ by 120.
All the smokers I know pocket their butts and toss them in the garbage later 🤷
I guess they still ash their cigs on the ground, but I don't really see ash as an issue. Maybe it is, but not to my knowledge

What was the best burger you've ever had?
Burger Paradox in Duluth, MN. I think the burger was called the Whompling? One of the only things I miss about living in Duluth right there.

Can you tell me about any lesser-known local fruits or vegetables in your area that you think more people should discover?
Do thimbleberries count? Not sure how local they are to me, but they're so tasty. Think a sweeter, more fragile raspberry. They make an excellent jam! my only complaint I have is how fragile they are, they only last a day or two in the fridge

I have a family member that had to use a poop knife growing up and I always wondered if that story was him....

Lots of food borne illnesses are spread through poop. I think it's the most common form of food borne illnesses from restaurants, at least it was 8 years ago when I did a servsafe course.

Believe it or not, I got to a LOT of beaches. And I really don't see that many butts there, either. (Well, the other kind of butts)

No rights no pussy rule
This kind of shit was a big motivation for me to leave reddit, and now it's already on Lemmy. Great.
You can have right leaning beliefs and not be a bigot. Hell, I'm not even right leaning but many of my friends and family are. They are not racist, sexist, transphobic.... This kind of post just makes the left look childish.
ETA: you can have conservative views and not vote republican. The republican party is a fucking joke.
